How to use DEVS GLOBAL LIST

Open the platform at the official address (globaldevlist.com). You can browse public content, search for developers and technologies, create an account, sign in, build your profile and publish projects. To use every feature you must create an account.

Click Create account or open /auth. Provide your name, email and password. Use a real email — it is used for confirmation, password recovery, notices and administrative messages.

If you receive a confirmation email and can't find it, check spam, trash and that you typed the address correctly. Wait a few minutes and request a resend if available.

After creating the account, go back to the sign-in page, enter your email and password, and click Sign in. If you forgot your password, use the recovery link on the sign-in screen.

Access the platform only through the official domain (globaldevlist.com). Sessions differ between the official domain, preview URLs and temporary addresses. Never enter your credentials on cloned pages or links received by SMS or from unknown people.

Fill in as much as possible: full and professional name, country, region and city, languages, role, professional summary and bio, years of experience, availability, and external links. This information appears on your public profile and helps others find you.

Your username appears in your public URL (globaldevlist.com/u/yourname). Choose something short, easy to remember, professional, without offensive words and without impersonating another person or brand.

Use a clear image with your face visible (for personal profiles) or a logo you own. Prefer a plain background, no offensive content, no confidential data, and never use protected images without permission.

Avoid vague sentences like “I am a developer and I build systems.” Prefer something specific: which stack you use, which problems you solve, what you're looking for, and how people can reach you. Prefer clarity over marketing language.

List only the technologies you actually use (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, AI, security, UX/UI). Do not list tools you have only briefly seen — reviewers, recruiters and partners rely on this list.

State whether you're open to opportunities, freelance, remote projects or full-time work. This directly affects how you appear in searches and to whom you're recommended.

Projects represent something you developed or maintain: SaaS, app, API, library, framework, automation, open source, academic or clearly identified experimental work. Open /submit, choose a clear name, tagline, full description, useful links (website, repo, demo), tech stack and imagery. Only submit work you own or are authorized to publish.

A product is a solution that can be used, hired, licensed or integrated by others: SaaS, app, API, plugin, template, AI, payments, management, security. Use the product flow when you want to expose pricing, features or lead capture.

A project describes what you built or maintain, even experimental or open source. A product is a consumable solution for third parties with a defined commercial or access model. A single work can exist as both — the product page adds commercial context.

Only upload media you own or have explicit permission to use. Avoid third-party trademarks used improperly and stock photos that misrepresent your product. Keep files within the size limits shown in the form.

Provide the official link, repository (when applicable) and live demo. Every URL must start with https:// and point to real content. Test every link before submitting — broken or misleading links are the main cause of rejections.

By submitting you confirm you are the author or an authorized responsible person. Do not publish third-party projects or products as if they were yours: this violates copyright and may cause account suspension.

You can save a draft while you're still filling in the form. Drafts remain private to you until you send them for review.

When you send for review the content enters the moderation queue. The team checks it against the platform guidelines. During review, edits may be limited to avoid conflicts.

Pending: awaiting manual review. Approved: published and visible according to your visibility settings. Rejected: you receive the reason and can fix and resubmit. Blocked: temporarily withheld pending clarification.

Read the rejection message, correct the exact points mentioned and resubmit. Do not create duplicates — reuse the same submission. Do not resubmit without changes, it delays the queue for everyone.

Visibility controls who can see the content. Before making anything public, check that no confidential data is exposed. Public visibility enables indexing in search engines and AI discovery — if you don't want that, keep it private or restricted to signed-in users. You can change consent choices at any time.

Provide the official name, trade name, country, city, website and industry. Register a company only if you have a real relationship with it and authority to represent it.

Whoever registers or claims a company or brand is responsible for its information and declares they are authorized to represent it. Impersonation and false registrations are removed and can trigger platform-wide restrictions.

Once the company is created you can link collaborators, projects and products to its corporate profile for grouped discovery and commercial context.

If a company or brand is already registered and you are its legitimate representative, open a claim request. The team verifies authorship before granting control.

Invitations arrive via an exclusive link and appear in your notifications and by email. Every invite carries the sender's identity. Always verify the origin before accepting.

You can accept, decline or ask for more information before confirming any relationship. Declining does not penalize you and does not notify the sender.

Never share passwords, tokens, authentication codes or private keys in response to an invite. The platform never asks for that kind of data by email or direct message.

Use a long, unique password. Do not reuse the password from other services. A password manager is strongly recommended.

Do not publish documents, personal phone numbers or home addresses in public fields. Only publish what is required for professional contact. You can restrict visibility at any time in Settings.

Never paste API tokens, credentials or private keys into descriptions, screenshots, biographies or comments. Treat them as passwords. If exposed, rotate them immediately.

On shared or public computers, sign out after use and avoid saving passwords in the browser.

Check the domain before clicking — make sure it starts with globaldevlist.com. If you receive a suspicious message impersonating the platform, ignore it and report it via support.

Missing confirmation email: check spam and request a resend. Login doesn't persist: always use the same official domain. Image upload fails: check file size and format. Project doesn't appear: check visibility and review status.

Use the “Forgot password” option on the sign-in screen. The recovery link is sent to your registered email — never share it with anyone.
